WHO WE ARE

The Food Development Group was founded in 1996 by Phillip Lee Wing PhD. and has provided technical support to diverse food companies in North America. We have assisted companies of all sizes in bringing their concept to the market both nationally and internationally. 

Dr. Lee Wing brings in over 25 years of experience in management, product development, and experimental design in a wide range of food categories such as bakery products, salad dressings, peanut butter, sauces and condiments. He has played a major role in providing innovation, leadership and training in these areas.

Dr. Lee Wing previously served as Chair of the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology - Toronto Chapter, as Chair of the Baking Association of Canada - Ontario Chapter, and is currently on the Advisory Board of the Toronto Food Business Incubators.

Dr. Lee Wing received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Manitoba and a Ph.D. in Food Chemistry from the University of British Columbia.
